Do you know if there are any bloopers for Yuri on Ice that I just haven’t been able to see or no? If there were any bloopers to it, would you want to see them or do you think it would cause us to take the show less seriously?

I don’t have any knowledge of bloopers being released for the show, the original Japanese version or otherwise. But I would love to see them!! Gag reels are one of my favorite parts of following productions b/c you get to see all the behind the scenes stuff and get to know the actors, in a way. It brings me closer to the piece and the creators.

I don’t think it would harm our perception of the show. It certainly would do nothing to mine, except if I was to watch it again I would be able to have little tidbits of new info, like “this actor struggled with this line here” or something. It would enhance my viewership, tbh 

About fics being outdated by the YOI movie

Ok, with the possibility of we getting to know canonically more about what happened in Victor’s past I see many people are afraid that their fics and headcanons could become “outdated” by the content of the movie.
In my opinion, it would be a less hurtful process if people would only accept that fanfiction is fanfiction. They don’t need to be canon compliant to be good! Even if eventually discover that your headcanons are actually non-canon, they would still work as the beautiful and creative ideas that they are! So there’s no reason to be afraid. The magic of the fandom is really about getting the opportunity to appreaciate every content about that story… both the canon and the non-canon! ❤

  • kubo retweeted her old art and added that looking at it now it reminds her of young vitya
  • the yoi museum has one full room dedicated to vitya’s past
  • the museum bonus audio track where it’s just vitya and his younger self talking
